Ok, solved :) In the liveCD of 10.3 you have FreeRadius 1.1.6 and this is ok for EAP-TLS and the M$Vista Bug. Merci.

Does the 10.3 has a newer FreeRadius, with included "Vista Support" ?
I need to install a new system, and if 10.3 still have the old 1.1.3 .. :(

Too bad this Live CD didn't work on my computer, although it worked on my older one. The reason is propably the SATA dvd drive on the newer one. Other people have also had the same problem on their SATA drives.

When I boot the computer with the live disc, it first loads the kernel and then it says about this:
"
Loading Kiwi...
Failed to detect CD drive!
Rebooting in 60 seconds"

But got to say that this 10.3 looks beautiful! :)

You will be able to update but there will be no package patches/online update. An update will have to redownload all packages completely. If you want to save bandwidth you will be able to pull the ISO deltas, apply them and start "Update" when booting from the created release ISOs.

Yes, there is an icon on the desktop to call the installer. See my comments above - this installer is not perfect. I tested it on a virtual machine *vmware server 1.04. So I didn`t care about partitioning and formatting hard disc - be careful if your disc contains any other os you want to keep...

Correction: I had to install java 6, eclipse didn`t work with the automatically installed gjc. And dependencys are broken for nearly every package, if I activate the pattern "java" instead of installing every single package of java.
And the community repositories cannot be found, the list of repositories is missing. Perhaps only a feature of this live cd?

Greetings
Martin

I downloaded RC2 live to verify the eclipse installation *doesnt run in RC1. But I found eclipse also defective in RC2 and I couldn't install any software from repositories - dependencys were broken on nearly every package...

Hi
Does anyone know if a 10.3RC1 can be updated to 10.3 or is a new installation necessary.
Best would be if all dif. stuff would come over patches / yast.

Thx

Even in RC2 NTFS read-write support is not as good as its in Ubuntu... even after installing NTFS-3g and NTFS fuse.. not able to get read-write access to NTFS partition. This should be made more automatic, especailly for newbie in linux like me.
