Please implement kde 4.1 into the next alpha releases or when it becomes available. I have used kde and SuSe since its beginning. This is one of the not good releases of kde. I understand that it takes time for perfection, and that perfection is the ultimate goal, but kde 4.0 is far from it, and I feel it could have been fixed up a bit better before release. I also feel that Opensuse would be much more towards that ultimate goal if kde 4.1 is implemented, as long as kde takes more careful steps to ensuring less bugs in 4.1. If they do not, I am not sure how it will hold an opinion in Opensuse 11 . I do know though that you can avoid larger ammounts of bugs if it is worked out before public release, if people have more patience in getting the next release. I understand, most who get Opensuse public releases are excited for the next one, and sometimes do not understand the huge ammounts of time it takes perfecting the works. They need to understand that if they have a little more patience, it will go a long way for the Opensuse team to get things more accurate in less bugs. So i ask as well that people give Opensuse team all the time they need to perfect, and let them release when they are fully ready. In otherwords don’t demand new releases, as it puts pressure on the Opensuse team, and hampers their efforts to build the best they can .
Thank you kindly,
Mikel

Emmm … I hope you know that this is still alpha … and this is just the 2. alpha. so you can not say that they have to do better because of the bugs. oO I’m sorry but do you always think that alphas have to be extrem stable? sorry but i don’t understand you opinion.
I Think Opensuse is doing a good step to add the Kde 4.0 version first and than the 4.1 version. The Developer has more time to make KDE more Stable and to make test. I really really hope that Opensuse 11 will be very good ;)
just my 2 cents.
