Anyway, kopete still doesn’t connect to msn, i can’t tell why, and i can’t find answers yet. Hope i could do more.

That’s wrong. You should keep your mouth shut if you’re unable to figure out the appropriate debuginfo package and are too pride to ask.

I suspect you are one of the idiots, as I said but you can’t read. the debugging packages are not even available to report the constant crashes properly with kde 4. Which means I am more interested in reporting and helping to get things fixed than wanting the candy. I’ve reported countless bugs and been told countless times the reports are NOT worth filing because of the lack of packages to make the reports useful. Can you not understand that? Heck go through kde bugs, and you will find countless reports that are not worth filing because the proper debugging packages haven’t been made available to users. So yes Will you are idoits, you ask us to report crashes and bugs, but do not give us the tools to do so. Perhaps in your little meetings instead of masturbating each others ego’s you could talk about giving opensuse users the packages to report the bloody bugs.

Is calling someone an idiot right Yes. Because KDE 4 has been released for a few months now, and still the users of openuse are struggling to file bug reports because they haven’t given us the packages to do a proper debug report. On top of that, problems with kopete not connecting to msn have been fixed on a few distro’s, but the opensuse team haven’t. So while you may not like my language, try looking at it from the point that for three months now, well longer for those of us who used the beta we have been unable to file proper debugging reports from opensuse because of the lack of intelligence from the opensuse team to give us the proper debugging tools.

The MSN protocol version in use in Kopete 4.0.x is still the old msn protocol (MSNP11). MSNP15/16 support was begun but not completed and is not selectable in openSUSE packages. I added the ‘Live’ branding to the labelling of the MSN plugin so it would be recognisable to MSN users. If there is a bug, report it, or if you are able, help in fixing it. But I suspect you’re only interested in having your candy and crying about how bad the world is.

woohoo, more internal errors at opensuse.org.

I really don’t see the point in using kde 4 when the debugging tools don’t exist yet to be able to report the constant crashes in it. Not only that, but msn, one of the most used protocols still does not connect in kopete. This is disgusting and makes using 4 pointless unless you use kopete from 3.5. I fail to see what the idiots dropped the old msn protocol and used the windows live one when they didn’t even have it working. Again showing the analness of kde developers.
