Thank you for providing 64er RPMS in the past.4 I was one of the first in our Office who got 64er CPU and have to use a linux distro. So Suse whith packpan packages saved me much time instead of self building the software. Thank you !

Package management the only thing I still find a pain in Suse. I love everything else, but why do I have to wait 5 minutes for it to scan the repos for updates when I open it? Can’t it do this once a day in the background? I’m sure I could kick off a manual scan if I wanted to.

Regarding one of your answers I heard on a ML that the new zypper to be used n openSUSE 11 is 10x faster, hopefully this is true. And thanks for all your hard work you have volunteered to do for good of the rest of us!

I really appreciate your work. You know, even though you didn’t answer some questions, this interview still gives us great us great insight into your character!
