		<description>Yes this already exists in KDE. If you press the eject button on your CD drive while a programme is using it (or eject via the GUI) KDE will inform you which processes are using the drive.

However, KDE does not provide you with any options for resolving this problem. It would be nice to have a "switch-to" button or a "kill" button.</description>
