You need a local instance or to ask to get your project enabled on the opensuse.org system. But this will not be done for an image of personal interest only due to our storage and bandwidth limitations.

It does not matter, if you use the web client or the command line client. The important thing is that you need to upload a kiwi config (you can do this in any case to the opensuse.org system, it just get not builded by default). The kiwi config must only use build service repositories (via the "opensuse:" syntax) to be able to build.

We will provide a small demo config this days and build it as small appliance in the system officially.
