Why is the published schedule for the beta releases always a day later then stated?

Beta one was one day late and now its may 2 and the beta 2 is not available! If more time is needed then it should be announced on the web page!

yes i have the same opinion, everybody is angry about this schedule stuff that openSUSE is always late and things!
that is really stupid and openSUSE will loose this way a lot of users! this is NOT JUST a beta, its an important event so redo the schedule correctly next time to get the ISO’s out on the right day.

Are you guys just blindly complaining? I downloaded the ISO’s two days ago, right on time with the schedule. Find something better to do then complain about a one day late ISO (when its not really late anyways)… Don’t you have other aspects of your life to tend to?

You seem to have a very subjective view of “everybody”. The majority of users will like to wait for one or two showstoppers less.

Slow down guys! Give them some time. If you check now, the ISOs are up.

has anyone tried the single cd yet. I want to know if they work before I download them, lol

You can always look at the Most Annoying bugs and the bugzilla to check. I tried the single cd in virtualbox and I didn’t get a working X config. I have to boot into failsafe then run sax2 -a; startx.
