Hmz, now I am kind of curious about the implementation of the openFate feature and how it's gonna work, now and in the future. I wonder though there are currently no facilities for it in standard model openSuSE 11.1 so it will be added by upgrade and worked out and improved in later releases?

No, you don't need to worry about virus. It's not only possible to play avi and divx, but any other video you might want to play! I personally recommend smplayer (in the 'packman' repo). It plays ANYTHING, even broken files, incomplete files, anything...

Welcome!
