any chance of getting vpnclient included in the non free repositories ? I cannot get the vpnclient to compile with newer versions of opensuse. Mandriva provides vpnclient in the non-free repository- mandiva and opensuse are the only distros I use.

Correct it does. However on laptops using wireless, the cisco software might give trouble in getting a connection.

There is an alternative. Try vpnc, it a nice open source replacement of the closed cisco software. vpnc accomplishes the same thing. In case you need the group password from the profile for the vnpclient software, vpnc includes a way to decrypt it, or use http://www.unix-ag.uni-kl.de/~massar/bin/cisco-decode

Hi. In Milstone 5 i lost possibility to intall nvidia graphic drivers due to kernels incompatibility.
Any chance to install them on ver. 6?
Of course Milstone 4 is unavailable get.

Puisque nous parlons de patrimoine culturel, je trouve un peu déplacé de confier à une nation (les USA) qui n’a pas d’histoire hormis celle des indiens tous les écrits jusqu’à ceux d’avant 2000 ans avant J.C. L’europe a une histoire, la Chine, L’Inde, bref toute la planète a une histoire. Et ce serait la nation qui n’a pas d’histoire qui devrait gérer tout ce patrimoine?! On croit rêver! Avec tous les pays de l’union européenne, nous ne sommes même pas capable de créer un centre de numérisation des documents avec un système informatique qui soit totalement libre et sans aucun brevet pour assurer dans le temps la lecture des documents. Le président de BnF ferait bien de retourner sur les bancs de l’université pour y apprendre Linux, ce qu’est une licence GPL et pour écouter les conférences de Richard Stallman. Car je suis presque certain que ce “président” ne sais même pas se servir correctement de Linux. Vraiement, c’est le monde à l’envers.

11.2 gonna be fantastic! I use M5 in my new AMILO Xa 3530 BL1, it’s the only 1 that recognizes ATI HD 3200. But not CrossFire neither HD 3650! (radeonhd) The problem is that it turns my laptop into “electric-heater”!! Can’t turn off HD 3650 (I suppose…) and buttery runs out in about half an hour! (should last 3,5 hours like with Win.). ATI drivers “deny” to work in ANY way, giving always black screen. I tryed 3 different vers. (and the last one ofcourse) with 11.0, 11.1 32 bit and 64 bit, M5 64 bit and any “hack” I googled. … nothing! I flashed the BIOS. NO way to turn off HD 3650. I guess I have to wait until November and 11.2 final, but I’d be glad if there was any “workaround” to this!

Have M6 been posponed?

I updated to 11.2 M6. but the repositories are not updated. In yast, i have to skip all repositories while refreshing. Please let me know the new path of repositories so that i can install few softwares.

I tried to add the factoty repos via Yast but it adds nothing. This is a mahor problem…. i cannot install anything.

I have installed softwares using
1. export ZYPP_ARIA2C=0
2. zypper install

I dont know how to configure Yast to use this exported variable.
