1)
Did you fixed the bug about the Hard drives which are swap.
I explain:
1 HDD
1 USB hard drive.
WHen you want to install OpenSuse 11.1 during the installation process Yast show the USB as sda and the HDD as sdb.
sda should be the HDD and sdb should be the USB Drive. Isn't it?
Whatever the way you configured the BIOS. I tried it doesn't changed anything.

2)
In my case, the limitation of 15 partitions is boring. Is it changed?

3)
I am a begginner. So I did not notice any EASY way to go back to an "old" configuration.
For example when you change the graphic card and/or its driver if it is down in grub or LILO you have no way to go back to the last good configuration.
Like a kind rowback in database if you prefer.

Yast is most likely one of the most well thought out package systems I've ever worked with. I have the ability to shop and compare so to speak. I can load up all of the community repositories and look at what each one has to offer. You do have to be careful not to break your install. I tend to stick to the most current releases of software however you need to keep track of the different versions each repository offers. If you are careful you can update the system to a much more current state and not update the OS itself. OK, What did I just say? Happy Linixing!

"Restart fails to restart computer"

"all repos are lost on update"

It doesn't seem to be small bugs.
With bugs like that it shouldn't be RC.

However the creators of commercial softwares are usually aware of a lot of bugs when they release their product.
If they wouldn't, no "patcher tool" would have been ever needed.

Hi Sami,

I cannot find a keyboard layout under SYSTEM -> LANGUAGE. The only thing it does is download language packages for the system as a whole, as I just tried that and it started downloading lots of help files and translated packages for lots of applications, this is NOT what I need. All I need is a way to switch keyboard layouts between applications. I write A LOT in Spanish, English and German every single day. Sometimes I am chatting with people in German, answering an email in Spanish or whatever combination at almost the same time. I cannot have a system that won't let me easily switch keyboard layouts on the fly. If you could please point me to the location of the keyboard layout application, I will be very happy.

Thanks
