I think, that OpenSUSE is very good base. But I VERY lack the long-term supported, KDE based clon of OpenSUSE.
I supported some computers and OpenSUSE is not a good solutions for it. OpenSUSE is for enhusiasts, which wants the newest software and 'plays' with it. Yes, I am enthusiast.
But I also need more stable distribution for at least 3 years, I need distribution with finalized details, that is 'fool-proof'. I see big free space for distribution oriented for SOHO and I think, that only a very small work is need for finalizing it. I think, that this clon should be paid - I preffered it, I think, that 10-20 EUR would be suitable pay for 3-4 years support (and development and advertising...).
I am very interesting to achieve constituting that distribution.

I'm sorry to hear you have problems with openSUSE, but still this is not the place to discuss your issues (for that I suggest the forums, especially the soapbox section). You are expected in this context to comment about the openSUSE board election. It is good to stay on topic.

Sorry, but openSUSE 11.2 is not released yet, so it is not fair to consider it a stable release.

Best,
A.

What a great disappointment, Suse 11.1 and 11.2. It is extremely slow, even with high-speed Internet takes so long to get off, the display indicates 1 hour and after 5 to 24 hours, downloading and installing brand mistakes, does not recognize many peripherals are cops. The stable version promised time is not met, the aid does not work
