STABLE is used as a staging ground for future online updates to 11.2. Our work cycle is tied to openSUSE releases not upstream KDE, so our repo layout reflects that. There is something coming in YaST/Zypper called Services that should allow a 'virtual' repo that always points to eg the latest KDE stable release, but it's not there yet.

I'm wondering why there is such a complex kde tree: stable, unstable, factory, 42, 43, 44. With opensuse 11.2 you ship 4.3.1, why someone would subscribe to STABLE if it still contains 4.3.1? 4.3.x are bugfixes release so I would expect you to backport fixes in "updates" leaving STABLE free for next official releases. UNSTABLE contains trunk. FACTORY is really needed? I mean we need only one repo to keep our systems in sync with the latest stable official KDE release. Why we have to change repo every time a new release comes up?

KDE:43 is already disabled from building and will be deleted in the next 24 hours.

The online update is in the update testing repo so I expect it will be out within a week, as long as we don't find any major problems with it.
