The Tips and Tricks are always great but again I question relevance. When decide to make the transition to publish procedure around the Yast UI you might gain some credibility. Yast is by and large nothing more than a token gesture on how to manage services. When your prepared to remove the text editors and command prompt from the developers and force them to use your own Yast UI and KDE’ System configuration UI, we will see one without huge bugs and holes and duplication.

So many Yast UI problems that are abundantly clear, never see the light of day in development because developers dont use it.
Personally I would use the text editors and console also but historically this concept it did not go that well.
In 12.0 I would dump Yast completely and dynamically add to KDE’s configuration UI and in Gnome dump all of its configuration UI and put it all into Yast.

When can we expect to see the results of the recent online survey?
