Comments on: openSUSE 11.3 is here!

I have tested 11.3 on an old pre-ACPI windows 98 box (it’s my only test machine).
it freezes during install.

What are the System Requirements? I don’t see the System Requirements posted anywhere, and after having so many versions, you think they would have that on the web site by now.

This is the type of BS you should not believe, opensuse have many haters because it will fly compared to ubuntu … I have not had 1 problem and I am using all the goodies. Thanks

I’m a Ubuntu user and am not happy with the changes being done in its latest releases. I was looking at openSUSE for the first time since I’ve tried pretty much every other major distro out there except. So, does openSUSE have great advertising and just that and what’s with all the bad comments above? :\

Hi , i installed every suse and opensuse from 9.2 till 11.1 , From 11.2 you lost me . Now i was curious and installed 11.3 , Thanks but no thanks , Can it get worse ?

I think I have a similar problem…Installed OpenSUSE 11.3. 11.2 worked great. But 11.3 freezes after about 10 or 15 seconds. I can only work in failsafe mode. I have not received much help on the OpenSUSE forums (http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/applications/443843-opensuse-11-3-mozilla-firefox-freezes-upon-moving-mouse.html). I tried reinstalling (Update), with no luck.

I’d really like to use my drivers and other stuff!

This version freezes every time I try to use it. I’ve posted on the OpenSuse Forum (http://forums.opensuse.org/english/get-help-here/applications/443843-opensuse-11-3-mozilla-firefox-freezes-upon-moving-mouse.html#post2202856), but have not received a helpful or complete reply. Can anyone help me with this problem? Everything works fine in Failsafe mode, but I can’t use drivers, print, etc. in failsafe.
