Mailinglist and Features Server down for filesystem check

May 26th, 2011 by

Sorry, but we expect our main mailing-lists server (lists.opensuse.org) and our features server (features.opensuse.org) to stay down for some more minutes than expected: the systems reported a file system corruption and running a file system check right now.

Expected recovery time: Thu May 26 12:00:00 CEST 2011

We apologize for any inconvenience.

Both comments and pings are currently closed.

  1. im a newbe at opensuse and i love it.

  2. Does this mean that the OpenSuse update servers are down as well. Keep getting error when trying to update OpenSuse 11.3 “Connection Refused” when trying to update. It would be nice to let one know that your servers are down so that one would know it is not a problem on their side.
I really like OpenSuse very much – much better than Ubuntu. OpenSuse is on the right path on building a better Linux distribution. When and if I could find a financial software package that operates like MS Money I would totally migrate over to OpenSuse and say goodbye to Microsoft. I am no longer a believer in Microsoft anymore – much too big and should be broken up.

And now i have tried—googles—-tried—googled—etc etc etc but the kernil always panics–what a wheeny kernel—OPEN HOLE SUSE—installed debian in this same computer-OK, Installed Ubuntu-OK, Installed Mandrake–OK, but …..
