@Philippe, We do not release 64bit version, you can use kernel-pae if you have more than 3G RAM, there is no performance benefit of using 64bit for day-to-day use. Regarding second question, that is what the magic of clicfs allows us to do, there is almost 10G of softwares installed on the hard disk once uncompressed.

Enjoy :)
1) The download link does not say if it is a 32 bit or a 64 bit version and I could not find where to select which version I wanted. Since 32 bit is more common, I assume what is on the DVD is 32 bit. I need the 64 bit version. How do I get it?
The link talks about i686, so it´s 32-bit.

a 64-bit version seems to not exist. Please ask the Edu-team about more details, I just published the article on news.o.o for them.

good luck,

I have two questions regarding OpenSUSE Edu Li-f-e 11.4 update.

1) The download link does not say if it is a 32 bit or a 64 bit version and I could not find where to select which version I wanted. Since 32 bit is more common, I assume what is on the DVD is 32 bit. I need the 64 bit version. How do I get it?

2) In the announcement, it says that the DVD contains all the software of the official release plus some extra software. When I downloaded the official version, when it first came out, the DVD contained about 4.3 GB of data. The DVD for OpenSUSE Li-f0e 11.4 only contains 3.1 GB. It has to be missing some packages from the original version.

Thanks
